Behind the scenes from the Alexandra Cameron workshop.

I had the pleasure of helping out a friend on her first photography workshop. Alexandra Cameron is a super talented fashion and beauty photographer from Cambridgeshire. She wanted to put on a workshop where other photographers could be in a beautiful environment and have the chance to shoot high end models so that they could get a feel of what the fashion industry is all about, so she did. Alex arranged Anstey Hall (an amazing mansion) for the location & Samantha Cooper from sam-makeup as the MUA.

The day was a great success and I’m sure she will be doing many more.

]]> Last week I went on my very first photography workshop with Fer Juraisti. Fer is a very talented destination wedding photographer from Mexico. He has bags of energy and is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Not only was I in a room with one of the best wedding photographers in the world, but I was surrounded by a lot of people who’s work I have been following over the past few years. It was a real pleasure to be around so much talent.

I didn’t actually take that many photos as I was more interested in seeing how Fer worked, so I took a step back and watched for most of the day.

I left feeling really inspired and I’m still buzzing from the experience. I would highly recommend attending a Fershop if you ever get the chance.
