London wedding venues I’ve photographed
London has every kind of wedding venue, and I’ve photographed weddings at many of them. Every venue photographs differently, so knowing where the light falls and where to steal ten quiet minutes makes a real difference on the day. Here are a few London weddings you can look through in full:
- Old Chelsea Town Hall: an intimate micro wedding on the King’s Road
- Old Marylebone Town Hall: one of London’s most popular register office ceremonies
- Asylum Chapel, Peckham: a super rustic chapel with amazing pockets of light

Getting married somewhere I haven’t worked yet?
Next to the River Thames is Trinity Buoy Wharf. This is a large space with plenty of charm and character. The NED is a hotel in the heart of London. It can easily accommodate for up to 200 guests. The Barbican Centre is a wonderful venue that can hold up to 220 guests. It has a garden room that makes for amazing photographs. The Gherkin offers amazing city skylines. Kew Gardens is a botanic garden if you’re looking for a very unique experience. If you’re wanting to have a Town Hall wedding then Islington Town Hall is a very popular location.

Whenever I speak with couples about photographing their wedding, I always hear the same thing. They tell me that they love how natural my images are. This is all down to the way I shoot and the trust that my couples have with me. I always make sure to capture natural and beautiful wedding photos for every couple. When shooting weddings, I like to capture all the excitement in the morning with your bridesmaids and groomsmen all the way through to the first dance and those crazy dance floor photos. I also capture the small details including things like the wedding dress and bouquet. It’s important to me that I photograph all parts of your day so that you’ll have visual memories that will last a lifetime. I’m based just outside London in Stansted, Essex, and I photograph weddings across London every year. I know the city well, from how long transfers between ceremony and reception really take to where to find a quiet corner for portraits. I don’t charge travel fees anywhere in London, so the price you see is the price you pay. I also cover Essex, Hertfordshire and the rest of the UK, and I travel abroad for destination weddings.

Hey, I’m Luke. I’m a relaxed, documentary wedding photographer based just outside of London. I photograph weddings all across the UK, London and I’m also a Destination Wedding Photographer. My goal is to capture weddings creatively but also to document your day in a relaxed way. Making sure you book a London Wedding Photographer whose work you connect with is super important. I love telling stories through photography, which is why I have to pinch myself everyday. I’m so fortunate to do what I do. I get to meet awesome London couples and photograph one of the biggest celebrations of their lives! It really is a wonderful feeling to capture such momentous moments with their friends and family.
When photographing weddings in or around London, I avoid all things cheesy and make images that feel natural and honest. My approach to weddings is simple, to capture everything I see. You never know when a great moment is about to happen, so I make sure to always have my camera by my side ready to photograph these special moments, always on the lookout for laughter and joy. What’s your photography style? Relaxed and natural. Most of the day I’m documenting what happens as it happens, with a short amount of time set aside for portraits and any group photos you want.
Do you charge travel for London weddings? No. There are no travel fees anywhere in London.
How long until we get our photos? You’ll get a sneak peek within a week and the full gallery within ten weeks. Read more about delivery times.

Do you photograph weddings outside London? Yes, all over the UK, including Essex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and abroad. See destination weddings.
