Best Travel Photography

We decided to spend the New Year in Bali. I’ve wanted to visit this part of the world for some time as I had heard it was a pretty special place, and it did not disappoint. I’m not quite sure what it is, but there is something very special about Bali.

We spent most days walking for hours and trying new foods. The setting and structures are amazing. The fields were a vibrant bright green that I had never seen before. We wanted to see a lot of Bali, as many places as we could in the two weeks we had. We had not stayed in one location for more that 3 days, always on the move, always looking for amazing places to explore. We got to see Bali’s incredible culture with its unique ceremonies, beautiful art and architecture. But most importantly we got to meet Bali’s amazing people.

Hardly anywhere else in the world can you find such a huge variety of landscape on such a small territory. The views are breathtaking: terraced rice fields, tropical jungles, active volcanoes, high mountains, quiet villages and beautiful beaches. We started our journey in tranquil Sanur. Straight away we were blown away by the views – the beach overlooks the tallest mountain in Bali – Agung.

Towards the end of our stay in Bali we decided to go to the Gili Islands – one and a half hour boat ride and you are in a true paradise with white sand beaches and the clearest water I’ve ever seen in my life.
