The West Mill Wedding | Derby
I had the pleasure of photographing Bethan & Marcs wedding at The West Mill in January 2020. This was my first wedding of the year and my first ever wedding the the West Mill in Derby. Having researched the venue on Google before hand, I was very excited to be working at such a cool looking venue. Let me tell you, it’s even better in person. The venue has many levels that are all used for different rooms during a wedding. For example the top level is the ceremony room. There are windows all around the room allowing for beautiful winter light to leak through and feel the room with a warmth. Another level is used as the dining area. It has 2 large long tables that are perfect for wedding in my opinion. Having all guests and family togeather really makes for a joyful time. Whats also great about The West Mill is that it used to be a cotton spinning mill and this is very evident and gives the place a unique feel.
Bethan & Marc couldn’t have been any nicer and that also goes for their friends and family. I left the wedding feeling excited to start my wedding season again. I had a month of during December and I am well and truly ready to get the ball rolling again.
